Particular attention has been paid to data security when developing Vihta. Different service components (public client level, user level and administration level) are separated and on their own virtual servers. The servers are monitored automatically 24/7.

The servers always use the latest Red Hat Linux user interface, Secure Linux extensions and a firewall service, which limit the programs and the ports they use on the servers.

Who is Vihta designed for?
Vihta is designed for all service providers – big and small – who wish to provide their customers with the possibility of making a booking online 24/7. Our clients come from public and private sectors in health care, wellness, education, banks and insurance companies.
Is Vihta cloud based?
Yes. Vihta is a cloud based service, which runs in our own Data Centre. Vihta can, if needed, be installed into the client’s server. When used as a cloud based version, no installation is needed. You only need a browser and a web connection.
Why is it called Vihta?
Vihta (birch whisk) describes our service to a tee. Vihta adds more heat to booking appointments and is made and provided completely domestically in Finland. All saved information is located and stays in our Data Centre and in our home country. Vihta booking stands out from the competition by its properties as well as its name.
What does Vihta cost?
We cannot answer that without more information as we always provide a customized offer. The overall expenses will consist of utilization, maintenance and support services. The pricing is fair for both small and big organisations, because the prices are based on the available resources for booking.
